Screencast Comparison

I like both screencasts the same because they were both almost exactly the same. Screencast-o-matic is more known to people so it gets used more. The second one that I used took me awhile to find but it worked just as good as screencast-o-matic, looked almost exactly the same.

Screencast

A screencast is a tool used to record the window of a computer so that people can see how to do things and get explanations while doing it. I liked creating one because it was kind of cool but I didn't like it because it was also annoying. If I didn't know how to do something then it would be very helpful. It is only helpful to the people who need to know how to do something and who have looked it up for that purpose.

Google Docs vs. Windows Live

I like using both Google Docs and Windows Live. They both work very well and have great advantages. However, they both have their downsides. I like Google Docs because everything is organized, and the way that is set-up makes it very easy to use; the documents also automatically save themselves so you don't have too. The down side is that the set up of the actual documents themselves is kind of a turn off. You can only see part of the document at a time. What I liked about Windows Live was that you could see the whole document screen and it was also very easy to use. The only thing that I didn't like was that the set-up of the website was different from what I'm used to, and it's not on a site that I use everyday and would remember to look at.

Driverless Cars

There is currently tests that are going on the promote a car that can drive itself. As of right now there are only a few companies whose driver less models are ready to show off. Even though these cars work they are still a long way from production by at least an estimated ten years. Mercedes is most likely the farthest along of the major auto manufacturers when it comes to driver less cars. The cars that are being transformed have an array of antennas and sensors to tell the car where to go, and as of right now there is no room in the driver's seat because the steering wheel and pedals are operated by robotics. A goal that these companies hope to reach by doing this is to not replace the driver but rather assist them. This allows for a safe transition to computer control if the driver falls asleep or becomes unconscious.
